No resolutions! All of my January + February Classes!!

Hi all + happy new year! I hope the past couple of weeks have been as relaxing as possible. I took many naps and completed many puzzles (literally, not figuratively). I also took our dog Winky on lots of snowy/icy/muddy walks. I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions, but I am a big fan of reflecting on what made me happy over the past year + doing my best to make sure my life includes as many of those things as possible. A few of those things for me include:
I enjoyed these classes! Happy to be continuing these into 2023 🌮🍦🍋. Also, learning to be more gentle with myself and others. Still a work in progress, but something I plan to continue working on in 2023.
Hi Julia, happy 2023! I'm wondering if you can expand on not believing in new years resolutions? Your "reflections" are so peaceful, I think I'll create some of my own! :)
I relearned deep breathing. After wearing so many masks at work, day in and out, I needed to catch up on breathing. I am continuing this into the year and adding meditation, which I have struggled with, but am trying. Taking time with my kids who are growing and moving onto adulthood. And, as prior, continuing your classes! Ensures comradery in the kitchen and a meal for the family on Sundays.
Also going back to movies, even (maybe especially) by myself. I just saw The Whale. And, while some may find controversy with the movie and it subject, I found my heart filled after seeing this film. Alone! I like a good film by myself, feels like an instant and readily available getaway.

What books have you been loving lately?
I’m starting Weightless by Evette Dionne tonight.
Also, would you ever consider a tapas class? I think it’s such a fun way to cook and eat!
