Great idea to sear meat on grill before braising in the oven...I do that with brisket but hadn’t considered for other meats & recipes. Genius!

Excellent! Recipes kids can make? Or recipes kids might like to eat? Or both?!

Ooo love both! Ha... most of the time we just give the kids similar to what we eat but sometimes it’s nice to change it up 🤩

Hi Julia- I look forward to your posts and love this winter grilling newsletter with both ideas and actual recipes-Thank you! I make big batches of vegetables

- one type of Vegetable to a pan- on my outside gas grill once or twice a week-

in well oiled grill pans. My standards are mixed sweet peppers, sliced zucchini or yellow squash, a mix of mushrooms, eggplant, cauliflower or even well dried canned artichokes. I just season with avocado oil, salt, pepper and sometimes smoked paprika. I also love to roast OLIVES on the grill. They add a pop of delicious briny flavor to the above assortment! I use the vegetables for quick vegetarian meals with cheese and a simple sauce ( Bruschetta sauce from Trader Joe’s is great!) or add them to omelettes, soups, or just whatever main course we are having that night.

My tip for the tofu lovers out there is to oil your grill beforehand as tofu will stick to the grill otherwise!
