Pancakes are the best, why do we save them for long weekends? I just made my favorite pancake recipe this morning with the buttermilk hiding in the back of my fridge. It’s a old Deborah Madison recipe which I’ve adapted to my taste preferences. Your post is a PSA - don’t wait for a special occasion to make yourself (and your loved ones) a stack of pancakes!!! 🥞🥞🥞

This is my favorite pancake recipe ever! I’ve never been successful with cooking pancakes but these are the fluffy restaurant style pancakes of my dreams.

This pancake recipe is the best. I used frozen blueberries and Greek yogurt. They have the perfect golden crust on the outside, and the inside is light and fluffy. It also scales up and down so well, depending on how many people you're feeding. So glad to have this reminder to make them again! Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend.

Dear Julia, if only you knew how you've improved my mental health and this pancake newsletter might be the defining moment to explain! Pancakes were at the top of my "no" list as I like so many struggled for decades with smaller body bias, diet culture etc. Then I found your books, your podcast and your virtual cooking classes and through my natural passion for cooking (my love language to my family and friends) and my therapy ----I discovered the good work of Christy Harrison and others and I'm slowly recovering from diet culture's actual threat to my health, mental well being and happiness. I thank you this Saturday morning as I eat all by myself (since my fam is out of town) a stack of pancakes made from scratch and with love by me, for me. THANK YOU!!!! social post of pancakes to follow. See you in class soon xoxo Christine
