ok now I really can't wait for the next cookbook - do you think baking your honey cloud/buttermilk cake recipe and adding fruit on top (or in layers too?) would work -until I can wait for new recipe. Bday cake you made for Grace is irresistible so while I wait and have plums and berries on hand - thought I'd dry to make something similar but using the cloud cake recipe as base. Should fruit be sweetened at all or marinate a bit?
