The first chart of 2026! I do love your charts, so useful!!

I love the chart, but it is missing a line! (made it last night...it just fits the chart!)

The dish - fast ragu

Ground Meat - italian sausage or other sausage of your choice

Aromatics - onion, garlic, italian seaoning (or other depending on your sausage)

Sauce - can of diced tomatoes, splash of red wine

Veg - carrots, spinach, bell pepper (time to clean out the fridge!)

Simmer a bit to let the tomatoes break down while you cook your carby thing.

Thank you so much for including a plant protein in each category! I went vegan last year and am thrilled with how you always include veg options 💗

I am most excited to try the gyro version - I've started using Abbot's "ground beef" and I really like it! High in protein, and doesn't hurt my tummy like some of the other options. Anyway! I think this will all be great in fresh pita with tabbouleh and hummus!
