It was so cool. You feel like a bird riding a thermal and float over the villages. My pilot was very experienced - was in the X games. They also take video and photos so you can just enjoy the views. Even my sister, who isn't a fan of heights, totally loved it!
Many thoughts from seeing your beautiful Italy pictures, first: An amazing eyes and heart wide open trip! Love, love, love.
Carrots, carrots, carrots, so delicious now. Really enjoying them.
And fog. It's magical. One continuim. When you are in it, you have to trust yourself to get through it. Be patient and let it lift or walk carefully to another place or wear it like a blanket. For me, it's a metaphor.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen puntarelle at any farmers market in the US. Years ago, in Italy, I ate it daily in restaurants - it’s so tasty! Now I’m craving puntarelle…
I do have a question. I feel like I remember you posting a link once to a doc that had all your recipes and then a reference to which cookbook they are in. Am I wishing that into existence, lol? Because I could really use it - I toss between indexes looking for things when I'm in the mood for something and want to bookmark it! Thank you! <3
p.s. I did the kitchen tour video and really loved it. new kitchen shears are now on my Christmas list.
So glad you enjoyed the tour! And no you didn’t imagine that! I’m having trouble pasting the link here for some reason but if you scroll back to my post from April 17, you’ll see it!!!
You've had an amazing travel year!
Just back from my Dolomites trip - even braved paragliding - which was amazing!
I really have! I feel very fortunate. HOW WAS PARAGLIDING??? How did it feel???
